Darren Jason Watkins Jr, popularly known as YouTuber IShowSpeed, recently made an appearance at the friendly Riyadh Cup match between Al-Nassr and Inter Miami.
This American social media sensation is a devoted fan of soccer pro Cristiano Ronaldo and was later seen at Al-Nassr’s academy, where he had a chance to meet Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the son of the Portuguese star.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who is famously known as the eldest son of Google’s “most searched athlete,” officially joined Al-Nassr’s Under 13 team in October of last year. Following in his father’s footsteps, he proudly wears the No. 7 shirt for the academy side and has become an integral part of the youth team of the Riyadh-based club.
Earlier, IShowSpeed shared a photo of himself training alongside Ronaldo’s son, indicating the growing bond between him and Ronaldo’s family.
Last year, the 19-year-old YouTuber gained widespread attention for his reaction when he met his idol after Portugal’s home Euro 2024 qualifier match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Just recently, he was seen meeting the likes of Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and the rest of the Inter Miami team led by Lionel Messi, all while sporting a Ronaldo shirt.
