Alejandro Garnacho, a promising talent for Manchester United, has demonstrated his deep admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo by wearing boxers with the CR7 logo.
During United’s FA Cup third-round victory over Wigan, the young winger was seen sporting these trousers. It is well-known that the 19-year-old is a devoted fan of Ronaldo.
His Argentine teammate, Leandro Paredes, revealed last December that Garnacho has faced teasing and mockery in the Argentina dressing room due to his idolization of the superstar.
Paredes, who plays for Roma, mentioned that they would make jokes about it, but Garnacho would become shy and remain silent. Despite the light-hearted banter, the team wants him to feel comfortable and included.
However, when it comes to discussing Ronaldo, Garnacho becomes tense and struggles to speak. Nevertheless, it is understandable as he sees Ronaldo as his role model and emulates his style of play.
Therefore, it is not surprising that he may need some time to adjust when he joins the national team.
